As for my background, I have lived in Davis and Weber Counties since 1992 and consequently know them inside & out. Prior to that time I was a military brat, and moved all over the country along with having the opportunity to live overseas. I have both a Bachelor's Degree from Weber State University and a Master's Degree from University of Utah. I was recruited directly out of college for the Department of Defense (DOD) as a Contract Negotiator and worked in that field for eight years prior to leaving for my true love - real estate. As a result of my eight years with the DOD I have superior negotiation skills, contract writing and administration experience, as well as an extensive background in legal application of contracts. I started in the business of real estate in 2005 because: 1) I wanted the chance to build lasting relationships with people (I am the kind of agent your best friend would refer you to & then pester you into making sure you call!), 2) I wanted to help people buy and sell something I could be passionate about - I love and have informally studied architecture, renovation, interior design and landscaping - basically, everything to do with real estate! 3) I have a strong business background and wanted to put those skills to their highest and best use. Helping clients buy and sell what is typically the largest investment of their lives is an incredible responsibility as well as opportunity. You don't want to hire just anyone - being a friend, Uncle, Cousin, neighbor, etc. just isn't good enough. You have to be a professional with the experience, education, skills and the personality to back it all up & make it work. I am that person & I can hardly wait to work with you!
