When I first bought a home it was a double wide mobile home - we could have bought a house for $35,000 more dollars, but I was too scared. When I saw what the market did after that, I promised myself I wouldn't make such a bad move again. I have purchased 6 homes since - one of them had a gain of ~ $400,000 after paying the realtors.
