My passion for real estate was sparked in the '70s when my family moved from the Midwest to Southern California due to my father's job transfer. It was an exciting market. Dad and I had fun that week interviewing agents, exploring many new homes in all the new planned communities, and finally choosing the perfect one for our family. I was excited to be part of the process and attend my first closing.
With guidance from a seasoned agent, I bought my first home with my future husband at age 31 in Holladay, Utah. It was a real fixer-upper, mid-century modern that needed a complete overhaul. We rolled up our sleeves and got to work. Eventually, we went our separate ways, but our property had appreciated 150%. Suddenly, finding myself a single mother running a small stained glass business, I used those gains and skills to comfortably move into the next home.
Discovering how to leverage my equity changed my life and allowed me to delve into other real estate investments. It offered a level of financial security I could never have imagined otherwise. I paid off my home, paid for my son’s college, and never looked back at mortgages again. Fast-forward through many home purchases and land deals, and I’m now living in a luxury condo with a fabulous view of our city.
For the past decade, I've had the privilege of serving as a Realtor, helping hundreds of clients statewide in paving their paths toward financial success through savvy real estate decisions. I’ve been a landlord, dabbled in property flipping, and worked alongside contractors on new construction. I’ve gotten my hands dirty doing drywall, stucco, painting, window design, and repairs. I've honed my skills at calculating a good value, appreciating quality craftsmanship, and pride myself on accurately pricing properties. Selling listings quickly is as important as resolving hard issues and negotiating the best deals for my clients.
