Heather M. Sneddon, J.D. is a licensed real estate agent with Summit Sotheby’s International Realty. A driven individual with a passion for helping others, Heather was born and raised in Utah along the Wasatch Front before she moved across the country to attend college in Rhode Island. She rowed for the crew team and developed an obsession with Dunkin’ Donuts before eventually graduating from the prestigious Brown University. Yearning for Utah’s mountains post-graduation, she decided to return to her roots in the Beehive State to continue her education, obtaining a law degree from the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah.
Over the course of the next 18 years, Heather worked as a lawyer litigating complex, high-stakes cases, honing her skills as a fierce advocate, sound strategist, and effective negotiator for her clients. She has been recognized among “Utah’s Legal Elite” in Civil Litigation, chosen for inclusion on the Best Lawyers® of America list for Commercial Litigation, named one of the “Top 50 Women Attorneys in the Mountain States,” rated a “Top Business Litigation Attorney” by Mountain States Super Lawyers, and selected as one of "America's Top 100 High Stakes Litigators." She also received the Utah State Bar President’s Award for exceptional service to the legal profession and community.
But at her core, Heather just really enjoys helping people. Her ability to connect with clients and really listen to their needs and objectives, together with her tenacity and attention to detail, have served her well in guiding her clients through many significant financial decisions and life changes.
After a successful career in law, Heather’s experiences and skillset made for a seamless transition into real estate. Not only is her background a natural fit, but Heather has a longtime affinity for designing and reinventing spaces. The real estate industry affords her an opportunity to fulfill both her penchant for design and her passion for helping people. She decided to join Summit Sotheby’s, recognizing that the brokerage's values and reputation for excellence align perfectly with her own. Luxury is not a price point; it's an experience. Heather takes extreme pride in providing her clients with high-caliber service and a real estate experience like no other – whether helping them sell a ski chalet or buy their first townhome. In addition, as a native Utahn and avid supporter of the arts, Heather serves on the boards of three local non-profit arts organizations: Utah Lawyers for the Arts, Dance Theatre Coalition, and the Salt Lake Acting Company (SLAC). In 2012, she relished the honor of participating in a staged reading of Love, Loss and What I Wore at SLAC alongside many accomplished, well-respected and vibrant women in the community. Heather also remains a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.
When not assisting clients, you will find Heather playing in the mountains, dancing to live music at a concert, noshing at a local eatery, or trying to keep up with her vivacious little girl.
