About Kami Christensen

Hello! I'm Kami Christensen and I've been a REALTOR in the State of Utah for 10 years and I have been in the Real Estate Industry for just over 12 years. I have had experience with helping investors and regular residential Buyers purchase homes at auction, FDIC Receivership, Short Sale, Bank Owned, New Construction, Raw Land and Residential Real Estate listed by regular Sellers. I have worked with one of the top REO Realtors in the State where I was able to handle a variety of different types of Real Estate and experience and problem solve interesting issues because of the sheer volume I was handling. 

These experiences have helped me almost predict or see where there may be a potential issue even before there is one - helping my clients navigate through issues seamlessly. I may not have a crystal ball but because of the volume and different areas of Real Estate I have been involved with I am an expert in my field and I can competently advocate on behalf of my Buyers and Sellers. 

Negotiations are a big part of the Real Estate process and really are the determining factor in what kind of result you get as a consumer.There is the initial negotiations where we come to an agreement on price and terms. Then there is the negotiations that occur after a Home Inspection in regards to any requested repairs and sometimes after an Appraisal if we don't meet value. 

I LOVE the negotiating process and I'm a good reader of people. Because of this talent I am able to look at a situation from all sides and then use certain negotiating techniques to get my clients what they want in an amicable and honest way. I make it my business to know what the other big Brokerage houses are teaching their agents so that I have techniques to counter their scripted negotiations. 

I love my first time home buyers. Purchasing a new home is intimidating. There are so many moving parts to keep track of and this is where I come in. From the beginning to the end you will know exactly what is going on and what, if any, risks are associated. We will be talking, emailing and texting daily - sometimes multiple times per day. I am here to literally hold your hand and explain everything in detail two,three, four times - whatever it takes to make sure you understand the process and are comfortable with everything. 

I am known by my peers as the agent that "gets it done" by that I mean that I have a general contractor in my back pocket just incase repairs to a home need to be made to satisfy both buyers and sellers. 

Boy do I know Salt Lake County - I have walked so many properties for so many years that you can give me coordinates and I can tell you what the common property style and average price point will be. I am a stalker of the MLS - I look at homes in areas even when I don't have a buyer or seller there just because I like to. 

I know contracts like they were my children. I make it my other business to take continuing education courses specifically regarding our contracts and forms. I can't tell you how many times I've been able to get successful results for my clients because of my knowledge and expertise using the verbiage or deadlines in the contracts to my advantage.
