Ann Werner is a real estate professional who’s passionate about connecting her clients with the ideal property for their unique lifestyle. Known for her patience, calm demeanor and empathetic nature, Ann takes the time to build strong relationships with her clients and colleagues—acting as a consummate professional, knowledgeable real estate advisor, and trusted friend.
Ann was born and raised in Ohio; she graduated with honors from Denison University with a double major in economics and piano performance. Several years later she received her RN degree and became a NICU nurse at The Ohio State University Medical Center. Although she enjoyed her career in nursing, Ann would eventually return to her family’s roots in real estate, following in her father’s footsteps and entering the real estate industry after relocating to Utah with her family.
Ann joined Utah-based Sotheby’s Realty affiliate, Summit Sotheby’s International Realty in the summer of 2022, after seeking a locally based brokerage with a true global reach. Impressed by their reputation for excellence on both a local and global scale, Ann joined Summit Sotheby’s International Realty to leverage the power of the Sotheby’s brand. Now connected to their global network and backed by the resources of an award- winning brokerage, Ann can market her properties like no other. Because she is directly supported by the creative professionals at Summit SIR who ensure her listings are marketed to the world, Ann is able to devote her full attention to her clients and their real estate goals—providing a seamless, stress-free experience from start to finish.
Although she represents buyers and sellers at all price points, Ann proudly holds her SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist) designation and loves working with the senior community; she has fostered wonderful relationships with other professionals specializing in senior care and is highly knowledgeable regarding the unique nuances of this stage of life. Ann stays up to date with today’s fast-paced real estate industry by attending regular CE classes and courses to ensure she’s current with all aspects of the buying and selling process. She also specializes in helping her clients downsize, allowing for more freedom and quality of life throughout their retirement.
Ann is passionate about helping her clients find their own personal home sanctuary—a place to come home to, relax in, and to gather with friends and family. Her past experience in nursing has granted her with a calm, professional demeanor and the perseverance to stay focused in stressful situations, regardless of what may be thrown her way. Ann is a fierce negotiator, but her integrity and courteous manner allow her to effectively collaborate and find successful and innovative solutions. Ann believes that everyone deserves a welcoming safe haven to return home to.
When she’s not working in real estate, Ann is spending time with her family; she and her husband are parents to four wonderful daughters who all play golf—their parents love cheering them on and watching them compete. Their family also loves skiing, hiking and biking Utah’s trails together. Ann still loves playing piano and enjoys performing publicly when she can.
