I have been licensed since 2007 and have learned so much from the down markets. The biggest lesson that I learned is that it isn't the market nor the people working in real estate that we need to worry about. There will always be buyers and sellers and as long as we keep this focus the trends and ups and downs of real estate wont bother us.
I have enjoyed being actively involved in the local Board of REALTORS as a Education Committee Chair providing timely continuing education to the local agents. Community Relations Committee Vice Chair helping connect us with our friends and neighbors. I have also had the opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors for multiple years and to be elected the Board President twice (2013 & 2015).
